"Heart beating" is a small, special film, it will put you in a warm, interesting, and full of humanistic atmosphere, until finally give you a look is not so unreliable beautiful story.

It's a family movie with great motivation. It has lessons about the details of first love and life, which is much better than putting some talented characters in the center of the movie.

Seabiscuit is a story of how negatives can be turned into positives to give a bright outlook for the future showing that the sky is the limit in becoming successful for anyone achieving a dream. The setting of Seabiscuit takes place during the 1930's Depression era narrated by McCullough who speaks of the changing times from bicycles advancing to the successes of the automobile. The story evolves around the lives of three men existing from different backgrounds who suffer set-backs on their road towards success as a result of the Depression and how their deflated dreams he become successful realities. The director's usage of wide angle and close-up shots throughout the film while filming Maguire riding Seabiscuit during the horse race sequences were very alluring to give one the excitable feeling of being apart of the race. These shots also captured the expressive feelings of facial and body movements showing the energy of defeat and success. This also allowed the viewer to experience the energy of the highs and lows associated with the drive to win. Cinematographer John Schwartzman captured the essence of colors by dominating the scenes with reds, purples, and hues of browns to give a low contrast emphasizing depression, power, control, and wealth. The light variations in contrast were used to symbolize security, truth, and the joys of achievements after the win of a race - by horse or by humanity.

Seabiscuit was an excellent film that I would recommend for individuals and families to view. The wholesome feeling of compassion for your fellowman and the will to strive in spite of all odds makes one reciate what life has to offer no matter how big or small. Director Ross executes a fantastic job at capturing actual and realistic events that occurred during the 1930's Depression without losing the focus of the film.

La La Land

La La Land is an amazing film. The cast is excellent. Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling shine in their roles. They're an absolute joy to watch! The story is pretty good. The whole time I watched the film I thought the story was really good, but not as unique as I hoped it'd be, but then the end came. The end...I he never seen that amazing of a finale in a musical. It totally made the story unique. I even cried at the end. I wished Mia and Seb had ended up together, but oh well! This is one of the best musicals I he ever seen. It's up there with Singin' in the Rain, The Sound of Music, Grease, Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, etc. This is an absolutely amazing film. I seriously he no flaws with the film. I love how this feels like a film made in the 1950's or 1960's! It is awesome. The music is my forite part of the film actually. I think Gosling and Stone he great voices. They're no Julie Andrews, but they're great! The Audition (The Fools Who Dream) song was one of the most beautiful things I he ever seen in a film, and definitely my forite scene in a film this year. The whole entire epilogue is also wonderful. I loved how this film also had a wide range in emotion. I cried, laughed, and smiled! The movie is amazing. Everyone, go see this film!

The story of the film is simple。Rapunzel is a princess that has hair that has power to heal and keep people young, but once it's cut,it loses all power。

When Rapunzel was just an infant she was kidned by an old woman who locked her away in a tower to keep her hair all to herself。

Rapunzel grows up thinking that her kidner is in fact her mother, and the reason she's locked away is because her 'mother' wants to keep her safe from the hardships of the world。

I'd tell you more about the movie but I don't want to ruin it。Let's just say she runs away。Very simple, fairy tale plot。

Although "Wuthering Heights" is Emily Bronte's only novel, published in 1847, it has long been considered a classic and is included in many literary canons. In the story Catherine and Heathcliff are friends who are also in a perpetual ually frustrated state. They are constantly wishing they were with each other, even though they he relationships with other people. This passionate friendship leads to nothing but trouble, especially when there are other people involved. Both Catherine and Heathcliff are selfish and self-centered, and the result of their egotism strains the relationships all around them to the point of breaking.

Catherine ends up marrying Edgar Linton who is from the neighboring estate, Thrushcross Grange. They reside together with Edgar's sister, Isabella. In a rebellious state, Isabella runs off to marry Heathcliff. Edgar and Catherine he a little girl, also named Catherine (or Cathy), who is born just hours before Catherine (the elder) dies. Meanwhile, Isabella runs away from the tyrant Heathcliff only to find out she is pregnant with his son, whom she names Linton.

Cathy continues to grow up at the Grange under the care of her father, Edgar. Isabella becomes sick and dies. Linton is then taken in by Edgar, but when Heathcliff finds out he has a son, he takes the boy into his house at Wuthering Heights.

There were many times where the characteristics of the parent come out in the child. For instance, Catherine (the elder) was quite conceited and was used to hing her way. There were many times where she was downright rude to the people around her and treated the servants with no respect at all. Even though Cathy never knew her mother, there were times when she was haughty and rude, especially when she met Hareton, her other cousin, and made fun of his vernacular speech.

After Linton was summoned to Wuthering Heights to live with his father, Heathcliff, his father was candid with him, noting his weakness and scrawniness. Linton eventually married Cathy. Almost immediately, young Linton takes on the telltale characteristics of his long-lost father. He tells Cathy that everything she owns is his, including all of her estate and even the locket she wears on her neck (at which he proceeds to tear from her neck and crush with his boot just to show her his power). Thus far, these actions seem quite out of place with Linton's past demeanor.

Children learn from their parents and other influential adults in their lives, even if the behior isn't positive. In Cathy's case, she didn't even he to witness her mother's actions to mimic them in her age years. Linton didn't grow up with his father, but in a matter of a few years learned from his example in how to treat women. Although he did not he many positive male role models, he used what male role models were there, and it was the absent father figure who turned up later in life. He chose to behe like his father (perhaps to assimilate) rather than the upbringing his mother had tried to instill in him. He chose to believe his father's lies rather than what his mother had taught him before she died (which goes along with what his uncle and Nelly Dean told him). It is in human nature to imitate the parent figure of the same to a certain degree, even if it not right.

简爱

Kent State University's school of theatre and dance performed a rendition of the classic, Jane Eyre this month. The show was a musical with all of the necessary elements to lift you from your seat and submerse youinto a society in nineth century England from the time the cell phone shut-off announcement was made until the last note at the curtain call. The recurring arches, darkened, soft lighting, and the use of a classic chorus to go along with them alluded that a sinister underbelly of social status and reputation were present in the performance.

One of the first things that an audience member noticed was the grandeur of the set. It was composed of a gothic-style foreground with rustic twigs of a root-like earthy earance. There were grand arches for windows and entries as well. Also, the background was a large arch with the silhouette of roots. There were also two matching greek-style pillar arches on either side of the stage. They added a lot to many messages of the show. For one, they were grand structures that were barren inside which is much like Mr. Rochester himself. He was a man of high social stature but felt ensled by his trick of a marriage and his grand yet incomplete (without a true love) home. The arches also suggest the importance of reputation with the same sort of fundamental grand image yet emptiness. The way that people are ensled yet scramble to ascertain that solid image amongst their peers. The arches were almost inviting the audience to come inside to reveal their secret, the thing that was hidden deep inside that could send the structure crumbling in ruin.

What becomes of a movie star when the career hits a hiccup and the lustre starts to fade? If the movie star is smart, they go back to basics, reconnecting with the fire of their formative years. What drove them back then? What first made them strive for greatness? "When I was a kid I always wanted to kill Hitler," Tom Cruise revealed recently. "I hated that guy and all he stood for."

Valkyrie, then, is not just the latest Tom Cruise action thriller. It is the fruition of a dream; a boyhood fantasy writ large; a Hollywood blockbuster that provides an opportunity that was denied him in life. Inevitably he bungles it.

Bryan Singer's picture casts Cruise as Claus von Stauffenberg, the Wehrmacht colonel who spearheaded the 20 July 1944 plot to se the fatherland. Wounded in battle and sporting a natty eye-patch, von Stauffenberg has grown sick of war. He wants to "show the world that not all Germans are like Hitler". He hates that guy and all he stands for.

The obvious sticking point here is that (spoiler!) von Stauffenberg did not actually kill Hitler. The plot failed and the conspirators were executed. Played as a tragedy, or a stark study of failed ambitions, this might not he been a problem. Except that Singer opts to frame Valkyrie as a high-concept wartime suspense thriller, inviting us to suspend our disbelief and go along for the ride.

The 1944 plot was at least fiendishly planned and generally well executed. Singer's, by contrast, seems flawed and foolhardy from the start.

But what of Singer's co-conspirator? Valkyrie paints von Stauffenberg as the archetypal "good German", a model of elegant disenchantment. And yet Cruise, for all his skills as a performer, does not do disenchantment. For all the anguished moments of dou, the constant stares into the mirror, his von Stauffenberg is essentially Top Gun with an eye-patch.

The film's curious melange of dialects only underscores this quality. Von Stauffenberg's cohorts are played by British actors (Bill Nighy, Terence Stamp, Kenneth Branagh) who deliver their lines in English accents. The villainous Nazi is portrayed by German actor Thomas Kretschmann who speaks English in a German accent. And then - standing separate and apart - is Cruise himself, intoning his lines in pureblood American. He might as well he been dropped in from an Allied plane; a gung-ho Hollywood hero sent in to clean up a very European mess. He couldn't manage it as a kid, and he can't quite do it now. Hitler one; Tom Cruise nil.
